In panel 3... Some may argue that the main character has already turned into a Pokemon, but obviously the hand in the next panel tells you that I am very bad at drawing manga faces. That is why you never see the whole of the main character as a human.
Also, if you're wondering, the light made the main character forget their human life, so when he says "Who am I" it's not one of those things where you go on a journey to find your "true identity".

It is also revealed here that the prologue was in black and white. I thought that since i only own 5 neutral colored colored pencils, that would be dificult for the rest of the story.

However, one could say that actually he was turning pokemon bit by bit. And one of the first things was his head. Therefore the head was already a pokemon's head and then i-*shot*
