Ghost the Echidna (1): Well I put Gengar on the cover, so you know he'll be in it, but right now their main focus is Team Rocket (in the pokemon world). Gengar kinda has to be in it considering he also turned into a Pokemon and saves the hero's life at the end of the main story...but he won't have Ekans or Medicham with him! No way I could draw those guys!

Raxby: Well, you know how rescue teams are "Team" whatever...so they're "Team" rocket.

Maeglin the Ninth:Tehe! Well you know how Jesse has pink hair and James has blue hair? It kinda works that way for Plusle and Minun, too.

Plusle has red markings and Minun has Blue markings. Minun=James, Plusle=Jesse.

Y'know, thinking about it made me realize that Jesse and James represented as Plusle and Minun, the two Cheerleading Pokemon, really makes sense.
After all, one of the few things that Team Rocket doesn't totally fail at doing is reciting the team motto over and over (and over and over and over...) again, and sounding really enthusiastic about it almost every single time.

If Team Rocket ever gets permanently fired by Giovanni (seriously, I think the only logical reason he's kept them around so long is that they make him extra-menacing by comparison), they could probably make a very good gliving as cheerleaders.
